Colleen Locke
Colleen Locke was born in April of 1966, and from her earliest days has been drawn to the creative. For her 12th birthday she received a subscription to Architectural Digest as she loved to create space…this led to her very first “project” - notably painting her room purple and filling it with a variety of unique finds. Colleen felt boundless energy moving furniture around, going to garage sales - as well as hosting her own on several occasions! Alongside her passion for design, she was often found with friends spending hours on the phone listening, giving advice, and simply connecting with those she loved. Her desire to problem solve as drama ensued throughout her adolescent years gave way to her choice of a college degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University becoming a licensed Social Worker. This degree also coincided with her new found faith as she volunteered with the mission of Young Life, coming alongside High school students as they navigated their young adult lives.
Fast forward to the present, Colleen has enjoyed 33 years of marriage to her best friend Kevin Locke, raising three amazing humans, Zac, KC and Ben, and has had the privilege of renovating 11 homes, turning one of those historic spaces into a thriving family business. As she moves into this next chapter, you can find her navigating life much the same as she always has: creating space for people to gather.
